How this is calculated
The biggest leak is the stage furthest below its benchmark median in relative terms. Uplift lifts that one stage to the median or top quartile and holds every other stage at your current rate, so the number is what fixing one thing is worth, not a best case. Benchmarks: B2B SaaS demo pages average 1.5-4%, top quartile 8-15%; Median 62% of qualified inbound requests become a held meeting, top decile above 78%; Series A companies average 53.6%; Opportunity-to-close runs 15-39% across published B2B SaaS studies. Sources and caveats are in the linked articles below.
Marqeable’s website chat answers visitors from your real product information, qualifies them in the conversation, and books the demo without a form.
Most teams watch one number, demo page conversion, and spend on traffic and landing pages to move it. But a demo funnel has three doors, and the published data says the middle one is where the money goes missing. Median inbound demo-to-meeting is 62%, top decile above 78%, and Series A companies sit at 53.6%. That gap is not lead quality. It is the hours between the form submission and the first human reply.
This calculator scores each stage against the benchmark median so the weakest stage is visible in relative terms, then prices the uplift of fixing only that stage with everything else held constant. It is deliberately conservative: it never assumes two fixes at once.
The benchmarks come from our published research: demo request conversion benchmarks, SaaS funnel conversion benchmarks, and speed to lead for B2B SaaS.
