Tofu AI Marketing Alternatives (2026): An Honest Map of the Category

First, the disambiguation this search demands: this guide to Tofu AI marketing alternatives is about Tofu, the AI marketing company at tofuhq.com - the “Agentic GTM” company - and not the food. If you wanted recipes, we cannot help.

If you are evaluating Tofu or shopping for Tofu HQ alternatives, you have hit this category’s defining problem: there is no agreed map. “AI campaign generation” gets applied to everything from a $29-a-month chat copywriter to a sales-led enterprise GTM suite, pricing at the platform end of the category is often unpublished, and nearly every comparison online is written by a combatant. This one is too: we make Marqeable, one of the five tools on the map, and it is in private beta. So we do what we did in our tool-by-tool campaign generator review: define the bar first, cite every claim to the vendor’s own pages, and say plainly when Tofu is the right choice. Everything here was checked on July 28, 2026.

What “AI campaign generation” actually includes

A campaign generator that only writes copy is a writing tool with an ambitious name - we drew that boundary between writing tools and platforms in detail already. For AI campaign generation platforms, the honest bar is five stages:

  1. Plan - turn a goal and an audience into a campaign plan: which segments, which channels, what sequence
  2. Generate - draft the actual assets: emails, SMS, ads, landing pages, images
  3. Approve - a human gate between drafts and customers, so nothing ships without sign-off
  4. Send - execute the campaign, either natively or through your existing stack
  5. Measure - close the loop: what did this campaign earn

Our earlier review set the same bar as a loop from brief to attribution; these five stages are that bar rearranged so five very different vendors can be compared side by side. Almost nobody covers all five, and that is fine - the point of the map is to see which stages each vendor actually claims, so you can buy the stages you are missing instead of the adjective on the homepage.

The category matrix: five vendors, five stages

The cells below reflect what each vendor claims on its own site, with links - not our guesses and not our test results. Marqeable’s cells are limited to what is true in the product today, and we are the ones writing the table, so weigh that.

And the money question, since it decides more evaluations than any feature list:

VendorPublished pricing (checked July 28, 2026)
TofuNone. tofuhq.com/pricing returns a 404, no pricing link in the navigation, no pricing page in the sitemap
Copy.aiChat $29/mo (5 seats, $24/mo annual); Growth $1,000/mo billed annually (20,000 workflow credits); Expansion $2,000/mo; Scale $3,000/mo
JasperPro $69/seat/mo ($59 annual); Business custom with a 12-month minimum; only these two plans shown
UserledLinkedIn Ads from $2,000/mo billed yearly; Microsites from $2,000/mo billed yearly; Sales Plugin from $599/mo billed yearly (10 seats); Enterprise custom
MarqeablePrivate beta; no public pricing

Two patterns jump out. The approve column is nearly empty: of the five, only our own cells describe an explicit approval gate, and we have argued elsewhere why human-in-the-loop approval is the difference between AI leverage and AI liability. And the send column splits the category three ways: native senders, through-your-stack orchestrators (Tofu), and tools that never touch the send at all (Copy.ai, Jasper).

Tofu, profiled honestly

Since searches for a Tofu marketing platform review mostly surface competitor hit pieces, here is what Tofu’s own pages actually claim, all fetched July 28, 2026.

Positioning. The homepage leads with “Agentic GTM That Builds Pipeline,” and the page title reads “Ship Integrated Campaigns 8x Faster” - that 8x is Tofu’s own marketing claim, with no published methodology, so treat it as a slogan rather than a benchmark. The pitch underneath is concrete and genuinely differentiated: “Tofu syncs with your CRM and sales tools so campaigns run where your team already works.” Customer logos include Wunderkind, RingCentral, Replicant, Fastly, and BlueConic.

How it works. The platform page describes three agents. Research pulls first-party CRM data plus third-party signals, including “intent & hiring signals (75+ sources).” Create produces multi-step email sequences, landing pages, targeted LinkedIn and display ad creatives, call scripts, and re-engagement follow-ups, aiming at “1:1 campaigns at scale” from one shared brief. Launch “sequences emails, stages leads, fires campaigns, and updates your CRM” through HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, and Outreach. Note what that last part means: Tofu does not claim to own a send layer. Your deliverability, your sending infrastructure, and your email tooling remain your job.

Where it is heading. Tofu’s generative-marketing page lists a much broader menu (blog posts, social posts, whitepapers, ebooks, presentations) plus optimization claims, but the current platform page is tighter - emails, pages, ads, scripts - and Tofu’s blog in July 2026 is publishing near-daily on B2B advertising workflows, including “How to Turn CRM Contacts Into Ad Audiences in 2026” on July 28 and “Tofu vs 6sense: Lean Ads Agent vs Enterprise ABM Advertising in 2026” on July 24. Read together, the 2026 center of gravity looks like an ads-and-outbound agent for teams with mature stacks.

Funding. Per Tofu’s own announcement, dated February 13, 2025, it raised a $12M Series A led by SignalFire, with participants including HubSpot Ventures and existing investors Index Ventures and Stage 2 Capital; an earlier seed post describes a $5M round led by Index Ventures. Tofu publishes no total-funding figure, so we will not invent one.

What is not on the site. Pricing (see the table above) and any description of a human approval workflow - the pages say teams “control the branding and messaging,” but no review or approval gate is described. Neither gap is disqualifying; both belong on your demo question list.

Choose Tofu if you run HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, or Outreach with a real ops function behind them, you want segment-level personalization at scale across email, landing pages, and especially ads, and a sales-led purchase with quoted pricing is acceptable. It is the strongest through-your-stack orchestrator on this map. Ask in writing about price, the approval workflow, and what “8x faster” was measured against.

Copy.ai, Jasper, and Userled, profiled honestly

Copy.ai: GTM workflows, with a pricing canyon

Copy.ai positions itself as a “GTM AI” platform for revenue teams - workflow automation across sales, marketing, and ops, well beyond copywriting. The pricing structure tells the strategy: Chat is $29/mo for up to 5 seats, and then the next step is Growth at $1,000/mo billed annually ($12,000 a year, 20,000 workflow credits), with Expansion at $2,000 and Scale at $3,000. There is nothing in between, a canyon we have written about before. Its own site does not claim a native send layer, audience management, or revenue attribution. If your shortlist is literally Tofu vs Copy.ai, the split is orchestration versus automation: Tofu assembles and launches campaigns through your existing stack, while Copy.ai automates the plays and the drafting around whatever stack you run. Choose Copy.ai if you want to automate GTM plays - enrichment, outbound prep, content ops - across a revenue team and you have the ops capacity to build and run workflows. Stay on the Chat tier if drafting is honestly the whole job.

Jasper: the content and brand-governance pick

Jasper calls itself “the AI purpose-built for marketing”: the Canvas editor, 100+ marketing agents, brand voices, image generation, and GEO optimization. It is the most complete content-side tool on this map, and its brand-voice work is the best reason teams pick it. It claims no sending, no audience management, no attribution - by design. Pricing is Pro at $69 per seat monthly ($59 annual) and a custom Business plan with a 12-month minimum; those are the only two plans shown as of July 28, 2026. Choose Jasper if your bottleneck is on-brand content production at volume and your execution stack already works.

Userled: ABM activation, not campaign generation

Userled is the odd one out on the map, included because it keeps appearing in the same shortlists. Its homepage tagline is “Set your ABM strategy. Let our AI run the motion,” and it calls itself “the only AI-native ABM activation platform,” spanning three products: LinkedIn ABM ads, hyper-personalized microsites, and a sales plugin. Named customers include Stripe, Ramp, Square, and Canva, and its homepage outcome claims - Canva scaling “from 50 to 500+ accounts - without adding headcount,” “$13M pipeline influenced within 3 months” - are vendor-published and unaudited, so hedge accordingly. What is rare and genuinely commendable here: published pricing. LinkedIn Ads and Microsites each start at $2,000/mo billed yearly, and the Sales Plugin starts at $599/mo billed yearly for 10 seats. Choose Userled if you run a named-account ABM motion with LinkedIn budget. It is not an email campaign generator and does not pretend to be.

The edges of the map

Three adjacent vendors deserve a line each. Typeface, at the enterprise end, is notable as the one adjacent vendor whose site claims the approve stage explicitly - its Arc Spaces manages “planning, creation, reviews, approvals, and publishing in one workflow” - but it publishes no pricing (typeface.ai/pricing returns a 404, checked July 28, 2026) and describes no measurement features on its homepage. Simplified, at the SMB end, now markets brief-to-campaign agents; its pricing page’s own description reads “Simplified Starter from $79/mo. Brief your agents once, get finished campaigns back: social, email, and ads,” with execution centered on social scheduling and asset generation, not email sending or attribution. And Writer sells org-wide enterprise agentic AI rather than a campaign tool; its seat prices load dynamically and we could not verify them, so no number appears here.

Where Marqeable fits, and how to run the evaluation

Our lane, stated plainly and with the beta disclosure up front: Marqeable is in private beta with a small early cohort and hands-on onboarding. A brief goes in and a full campaign comes out drafted - email and SMS copy, images from the image studio, and an audience segment with live reach synced from HubSpot, Salesforce, or ServiceTitan. Nothing ships until you approve it. Sends are email and SMS today; we do not auto-publish to social.

The part nobody else on this map claims, based on the pages we checked, is the inbound half. Marqeable’s AI website chat, grounded in your business info, answers buyer questions, captures and qualifies leads, and books demos - a one-snippet install with bot and spam protection. Campaign replies get handled too: a conversations inbox is where SMS replies land, with AI-drafted answers a human approves, journeys handle automated follow-up, and revenue attribution ties dollars back to the exact message. Generate on one side, win the customer on the other - that loop is the product. Get early access.

Whoever you shortlist, here is the evaluation we would run:

  1. Decide which stages you need to own versus rent. If your HubSpot or Marketo instance is healthy and staffed, a through-stack orchestrator like Tofu protects that investment. If your “stack” is a CRM and a shared inbox, native execution matters more than orchestration.
  2. Run one identical brief through every finalist. Judge specificity, not demo polish. In Salesforce’s State of Marketing (10th edition, a self-reported vendor survey of 4,450 marketers), 51% of marketers say AI campaigns “still feel generic” (Salesforce via diginomica, 2025) - the fix is grounding in your real audience and offer, and the same brief across vendors exposes who has it.
  3. Ask where the approval gate is, and get the answer in writing. Only one vendor row in the matrix above describes one, and it is ours, so verify rather than trust the table.
  4. Trace one dollar. Ask each vendor to show revenue attributed to a specific message in a live account. If the answer is a dashboard of opens and clicks, the measure stage is not covered.
  5. Get pricing early. Two of the five on the map publish none: Tofu and, in fairness, us - we are in private beta and publish no pricing. A quote in week one beats a surprise in week six.

Frequently asked questions

What is Tofu in marketing (and is it the same as tofuhq.com)?

Tofu (tofuhq.com) is an AI marketing platform for B2B go-to-market teams - not the food. Its homepage positions it as “Agentic GTM That Builds Pipeline” with three AI agents: Research (CRM data plus third-party intent and hiring signals), Create (multi-step email sequences, landing pages, LinkedIn and display ads, call scripts), and Launch, which executes through HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, and Outreach rather than sending natively. Per its own announcement post, it raised a $12M Series A led by SignalFire, after an earlier $5M seed led by Index Ventures.

How much does Tofu cost?

Tofu publishes no pricing. As of July 28, 2026, tofuhq.com/pricing returns a 404, there is no pricing link in the site navigation, and the sitemap contains no pricing page. Buying Tofu means a sales conversation, so get a quote in writing early in your evaluation. Tofu publishes no price anywhere on its site, and we will not guess at a number.

What is the difference between Tofu and Copy.ai?

Tofu is campaign-shaped: it plans from CRM data and buying signals, generates multi-asset campaigns, and launches them through your existing stack (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Outreach). Copy.ai is a GTM AI platform centered on copy plus workflow automation: Chat is $29/mo for 5 seats, then workflow tiers start at Growth, $1,000/mo billed annually. Neither claims a native email or SMS send layer, and neither claims revenue attribution. Pick Tofu to orchestrate campaigns through a mature stack; pick Copy.ai to automate GTM plays and drafting.

What is the best Tofu alternative for a B2B SaaS marketing team?

It depends on which stage of the campaign loop is your bottleneck. Jasper (Pro $69/seat/mo, $59 annual) is the content and brand-governance pick. Copy.ai fits teams automating GTM workflows with the ops capacity to run them. Userled is the ABM activation pick, with rare published pricing from $2,000/mo for LinkedIn ads. Marqeable, currently in private beta, is the option if you want generation and lead winning in one loop: brief-to-drafted campaign, approval-gated email and SMS sends, AI website chat that answers buyers, and revenue attribution.

The bottom line

The AI campaign generation category is five very different products wearing one label. Tofu is a genuine campaign orchestrator that runs through your existing stack, strongest for teams with mature GTM tooling and an appetite for sales-led pricing. Copy.ai automates GTM workflows, Jasper governs content at scale, Userled activates ABM accounts, and none of the three pretends to run a campaign end to end. Map any vendor - including us - against the five stages: plan, generate, approve, send, measure. The stages a vendor’s own website goes quiet about are the stages you will still be doing by hand, and in 2026 the approve and measure columns are where this category is still mostly quiet.

See it live: Marqeable’s AI website chat answers buyers and captures leads, the conversations inbox handles your SMS replies, and attribution ties the dollars back to the message.
